If you are a Kylie fan, you know that the last year was spent waiting for the pop princess’ new album to finally be done. She had teased us in early 2013 with the move to Jay Z’s record label Roc Nation. She dropped her “Skirt” with a sexy new single and made us all believe that it was a sign of a new album coming soon. However, time went by and there was still no mention of an album release date.  When 2014 arrived Kylie tweeted about the release of “Into the Blue.” The single was released on January 27th and all gay men could rejoice that new Kylie music was finally here with Kiss Me Once!

Kiss Me Once is a true Kylie album with a blend of fresh sound from working with producers like Pharrell on “I was Gonna Cancel.” Sia, one of the hottest singers out there right now, was the executive producer on the album and brought the heat with the sexually provocative “Sexercise.” The single caused some controversy with the steamy video. Minogue slows it down with Enrique Iglesias in “Beautiful” with this touching debut of talking about somebody that is “still the one.”

What makes this a true Kylie album, as any devoted fan would know, is the euphoric and uplifting music that makes you think of that joyful feeling when you fall in love. “Sexy Love” is a playful upbeat number with racy lyrics like, “you look so sexy in my bed.” The moment when you are laying in that special someone’s arms is the exact feeling when you listen to “Feels So Good.” Then finally you come to the title track “Kiss Me Once,” and you know that person is yours cause “me and you, baby we made it through.” The entire album is the happiness and feelings of love and all you gotta do is Kiss Me Once to bring us there and Kylie definitely has done that.
