BURNING QUESTION :: Since the addictive The Real Housewives franchise began on television several years ago, we’ve wanted to ask one question of any of the dozens of raucous participants. Bring us a housewife, any housewife, from any city so we can ask them this: WHY?
Because, unlike traditional TV dramas featuring beautiful women behaving badly, The Real Housewives cast members aren’t actors working with a script – these are real people, putting their beautiful faces and ugly messes on display for viewers to consume, judge, and criticize.
We found our answer from Robin Reichman, famous for landing one of the biggest divorce settlements in history. Reichman joined the popular TV franchise in season two of The Real Housewives of Vancouver. They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and Robin’s outgoing personality and willingness to share is certainly proof of that. Reichman – who spent eight years working in Dallas-area prisons – left the Lone Star State almost two decades ago, moving to Vancouver (“I may be a country girl, but I got this city in the palm of my hand”), where, with cameras rolling, she now puts it all on display – from her Pointe Grey home, to her battles with co-stars.
Reichman let loose with us on The Shaun Proulx Show on SiriusXM Canada Talks CH 167, answering our one burning question, while also telling us why she wishes she’d pulled a Teresa Guidice and flipped a table or two last season, and how her penchant for partying is often at odds with her Christian belief system.
